Wow! $12M to the utilities to simplify the authorization to share data with D-R companies. What a joke.
Yep, and despite this they still struggle to comply. At least SCE seems to struggle...
They are also reluctant to give up the data freely...
And yet our own membership is reluctant to file complaints with CPUC. SCE fights OhmConnect, solar netmetering, pilot programs for EV charging, and reasonable off-peak tariffs for excess production. They (SCE) are quite the piece-of-work organization.
