Will a practice OhmHour turn off my TP-Link? I created a practice ohmhour today (4:00 - 5:00) after setting up my first smart plug and it did not toggle the plug.
@rbarline That's a good question. I would say a practice OhmHour should be like the real thing. When OhmConnect is getting ready for an OhmHour, my Connect page (at the top of your dashboard) shows my smart plugs with timers. (see screenshot below) That means they're set to go off, then back on again at the end of the OhmHour. When there are no little timers, I've found my smart plugs don't go off automatically.
There used to be a problem with setting your timer on Kasa. It interfered with OhmConnect's ability to also set your OhmHour with a timer. Try this thread for trouble-shooting ideas. The best one is to disconnect from OhmConnect, then reconnect and don't use Kasa after that.
