Pond motor question

Though I have participated in a few Ohm hours, I cannot reach my target. Basic questions from Ohm does not ask for pond motor 24/7 usage. Despite not running any appliances, AC, etc., my pond motor usage will exceed the limit despite it's the energy saving kind. Even if it may be safe for koi not to die in hot summer for an hour or so, my motor is hard wired such that I cannot plug in a Smart Plug to remotely turn it off. Any suggestion is appreciated.

I'm sometimes not home during ohm hours. Flipping electrical panel is a bit of hassle. Besides, the risk of not remembering to flip it back on is too great.
I sounds like it's too important and sometimes the plugs have issues too.
