I'm out... just not worth it.

Ohmconnect target thresholds have become hyper-aggressive, and there is no way my house can meet them. I lose points practically every time, even with smart plug in use, vampire devices disconnected, stereo, TV and computers off, no A/C and minimal lighting. It's just not worth reducing to cave-dweller standards just for a measly buck and a half per event. I have already minimized my PG&E bill, and it looks like that's the best I can do.

Also, the ohmconnect.com website is really frustrating to use. All told, I just don't need the aggravation.

Good luck everyone, keep on saving!

    @Philip Shanks

    You may have noticed that virtually all OhmHours are between 7-8 or 8-9. With this in mind, you could try to NOT save during these times, do the laundry, cook, run the AC etc etc. Over a couple of weeks this'll get your forecast up for those times and when there is an OhmHour you simply shift that usage to another time slot, reduce to nothing for the OhmHour and voila...you'll earn some decent points.
