IFTTT and Ecobee

Has anyone had problems with the IFTTT trigger not running for your ecobee? I bought an ecobee specifically due to the IFTTT trigger, but it seems it only runs half the time . Really frustrating because I will think I'm ok and realize the AC is running halfway through an OhmHour.
