Proof is Possible Green Tour

The fair will feature the traveling “tiny house on wheels” built to demonstrate the most exacting energy-efficiency and air quality standards. There will be public “tours” of the “Tiny Lab” so that fair visitors can get a first-hand look at proof of what is possible in their own, conventional homes.

All - this is part of the Step Up & Power Down (SUPD) initiative I'm working on at PG&E. If you live in Woodland, I encourage you to attend the event on October 9th.

The basic idea of the SUPD initiative is that if everyone took small steps to conserve energy like flipping off a light switch, we could make a huge impact such as preventing the need to build additional power plants to meet peak periods of high demand and as a result, reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Sounds familiar, right?
