@Srelaz, @greygollum We are just beginning to create IFTTT recipes for our service. However some of the uses you are looking for can already be done on IFTTT by creating your own applet using our triggers. Just go to IFTTT "My Applets" > "New Applet" and then select an OhmConnect trigger for the "If" part of the recipe.… -
IFTTT and Ecobee
Has anyone had problems with the IFTTT trigger not running for your ecobee? I bought an ecobee specifically due to the IFTTT trigger, but it seems it only runs half the time :(. Really frustrating because I will think I'm ok and realize the AC is running halfway through an OhmHour. -

How do I setup my smart plug with IFTTT?
I have a smart plug that is not directly compatible with OC but Id like to none the less set it up with IFTTT to properly trigger during OH (and then of course turn back on afterwards) Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -

I actually don't have WeMo plugs - I'm using the OhmConnect triggers with a web hook to trigger my Powerwalls. However, all that should show up in OhmConnect is IFTTT, not the plugs. I just heard back from OhmConnect staff. They said they had no experience interfacing with high-efficiency heat pumps. That's unfortunate given the importance of high-effiency heat pumps in California's emission reduction plans. I'm still pestering them to say whether or not they can talk to the Honeywell D6 controllers.…
